He's rollin'!

My Vantec motor controller came today, and tonight I got it temporarily hooked up to my scooter motor foot drives in R2-G4... and he took his first steps across the basement floor!

I am so stoked now.

BTW he's a freakin' tank. I hit the stick on the Futaba radio a little hard the first time and he lurched forward and pushed my 4'x8' plywood work table about a foot.

Three feet on the ground

Got the center foot mounted and temporarily connected into the frame. Looks pretty good so far. Foot is nowhere near done - still needs details and paint. I'm just happy to see him in 3-leg mode for the first time.
